Bobby Jones is the only one to win the golf’s Grand Slam. In 1930 he won the four major competitions in the same year. Between 1923 and 1930 he won 13 majors which ranks him as the second best in golf history after Jack Nicklaus. Jones was the youngest player to win US Amateur (14 years) and the first player to win “The Double” both US Oen and British Open that year. Jones was also a highly educated graduate. He graduated in engineering science, literature and law, and when he finished with the golf at only 28, he continued to work as a lawyer, write golf articles and also participated in some golf films. But above all, he created the world’s best golf course along with Alister Mckenzie, Augusta National and in 1934 they started The Masters competition held at Augusta every year.
